The Dutch ministry of economic affairs has designated nine projects to test smart network and develop energy sources for the future. The projects will experiment with warm/cold, an evenflow network supplied by sun and wind energy, "intelligent refridgerators" and charging points in the city for electric. The projects will receive grants ranging from EUR 250,000 to EUR 4 million. The projects are located in Delft (the University of Technology), The Hague, Deventer, Groningen, Haarlemmermeer (greenhouse area), Rotterdam, Texel and Zwolle. A green energy project is also running in Heerhugowaard, Gorinchem and Goes.
